We’ve all seen the horror stories of the valet attendants that rummage through your car after you hand them the keys. Most of us have learned that you don’t keep anything of value inside your valet parked car…it could just come up missing. This, however, is a first for us. This valet attendant decided to take this new C7 Corvette Stingray on a joy ride of sorts. Checkout the video below.
So he didn’t run anyone over or hit another car, but we did get the Stingray up to 50MPH inside a parking garage!!
We are guessing that most parking attendants do not know that the new C7 Corvette Stingray comes with a “Valet Mode”, so you can watch out for things just like this. It’s all bad, but what we are most concerned with is the valet attendant gets out of the Stingray after he parks it, bends down to the front bumper and checks for damage. Did he hit that wall? We suggest that every C7 Corvette Stingray owner purchase a Curb Alert bumper protection system. We found them reasonably priced over at Southern Car Parts here: http://www.southerncarparts.com/corvette-stingray-curb-alert-p-5715.html For only $149.00 you can put your mind at ease when you give someone your Corvette to park. Heck this little gismo works great even for the Corvette owner that is fortunate enough to get to drive one of these all the time.
